چکیده
The energy sector is responsible for a large share of climate-damaging emissions. Regarding the decarbonization sector, deep geothermal considered to have high potential, particularly in area heat supply. In order gauge extent which use from can make positive contribution climate protection, systems should be appraised using an environmental sustainability assessment. Although electricity generation power plants has been evaluated many ways literature with respect its sustainability, no such evaluations pure conducted so far. close this research gap, study presents systematic approach that makes it possible apply suitable criteria across individual life stages based on life-cycle assessment (LCA) guidelines. To demonstrate effectiveness presented here, planned plant Upper Rhine Valley, Germany, serves as example. Based estimated parameters and predicted total yield, was determine, example, “energy returned invested” (EROI) plant, approximately 34, specific CO2 emissions, were 5.6 g/kWhth.

Solar-Enhanced Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers for Geothermal Power Plants
This paper focuses on the optimization of a Solar-Enhanced Natural-Draft Dry-Cooling Tower (SENDDCT), originally designed by the Queensland Geothermal Energy Centre of Excellence (QGECE), as the air-cooled condenser of a geothermal power plant. The conventional method of heat transfer augmentation through fin-assisted area extension is compared with a metal foam-wrapped tube bundle. Both lead t...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
evaluation of geothermal power plants development:an environmental economics perspective
in the sector of electricity production, the existence of investment resources limitation and environmental factors are the main factors that influence this process. the reduction of costs and the destructive impacts of environmental have been always mentioned by specialists. consequently, the drasticality of the environmental protection and the electric-energy production lead to focus on solar...
متن کاملAssessing the environmental sustainability of ethanol from integrated biorefineries
This paper considers the life cycle environmental sustainability of ethanol produced in integrated biorefineries together with chemicals and energy. Four types of second-generation feedstocks are considered: wheat straw, forest residue, poplar, and miscanthus. Seven out of 11 environmental impacts from ethanol are negative, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, when the system is credited f...

Introduction Rural industrialization has been greatly discussed by researchers in recent studies of rural planning and development. It is due to its positive effects of economic, social and infrastructural factors. Moreover, researches are looking for ways to analyzed approaches to reduce harmful environmental impacts of industrial projects, as destructive life factors of geographical territ...
